Messaging Terms of Service

This Messaging Terms of Service explains how Herrington Harbour, Inc. collects and uses information about you in relation to its text message marketing program (the “Messaging Service”). We use RingCentral to provide the Messaging Service to you.

Opting into SMS/Text Messages: By providing your phone number, you agree to receive occasional text messages from Herrington Harbour, Inc. with updates, marina news, package delivery, essential event updates, weather alerts, and more. When opted-in, you will receive text messages to your mobile number. Reply HELP to contact a Herrington Harbour representative. Message frequency will vary. Your phone number will be stored securely and will not be shared with anyone, especially third parties.

How to Opt-out: You can opt-out of this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number. After you text “STOP” to us, we may send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or text “START” or “JOIN” and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

How to Get SMS Help: If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword “HELP”. Or, you can get help directly from us here or by emailing info@herringtonharbour.com.

Messaging and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. The number of messages you receive per month will vary. Please contact your wireless provider if you have any questions about your text plan or data plan.

Collection of Information: We collect various information on our behalf from and about you, including information you directly provide when you use the Messaging Service. For example, we collect the phone number you provided when signing up for the Messaging Service. When you send messages via the Messaging Service, we will also collect your messaging history and any information included in those messages. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy.

Eligibility: To receive text messages, you must be 18 years of age or older. Provider reserves the right to require you to prove that you are at least 18 years of age.
